About Luna’s Robot Biology:

• Being a GAULEM (her universe's fancy term for robot), Luna is designed to be nearly impossible to distinguish from a regular human. Her interior is typically robotic, though is shaped much like a human skeletal structure and made out of an extremely lightweight alloy that is no heavier than an average person’s bones. Without a high-powered X-ray, it’s physically impossible to see or feel a difference in Luna’s frame.
• Over her robotic skeleton is a substance called ABT; ‘Artificial Biological Tissue’. To put it simply, ABT is supposed to nearly perfectly mirror the feel, appearance and even smell human skin; it has every little detail from eyelashes to tiny hairs and can even falsify blemishes like scars or wounds. Much like her skeletal structure, it’s impossible to tell the difference with just a look or a touch, but anyone with a heavily enhanced sense of smell may notice something slightly off or plasticy about Luna.
• Luna doesn’t really bleed. She does have a simulated heartbeat and even a warm body, but her synthetic blood is a white paste that doesn’t have the same smell or taste as the organic original. This white blood is supposed to repair the ABT and is more like a salve or nutrient pack than something necessary for Luna’s survival. I imagine it smells kind of like glue and vanilla.
• Since robots can’t grow hair, Luna’s locks are just a really nice wig. She tends to keep it styled, but, yes, it can come out of the buns.
• Since she’s designed to be identical to humans, I think it’s reasonable to assume she does have the basic sexual organs, but can't carry a child for obvious reasons.
• When she witnesses something that shocks her, Luna runs the risk of literally shutting herself down by overloading her brain. When she saw Akane being murdered, she mentions that several of her higher processors nearly shut-down, which would have almost killed her.
• Her artificial skin is held on by muscle fibers, so any kind of anaesthetic or muscle relaxant will actually cause her ABT to peel off.
